Porto Katsiki is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. It is located in the southwest part of the island of Lefkada, about 60Km from the town of Lefkas. Getting there is interesting. Half of the way the road is good although there are lots of turns and several hills (more like mountains) to climb. The other half of the way the road becomes narrow, very narrow. It's a single lane road, not a single lane in each direction, one single lane for both directions. For the most part, opposite moving cars can squeeze by if the drivers are careful but at some points there's simply not enough room, one of the cars will have to back up.

It takes about one hour to reach Porto Katsiki. Once you get there you will be rewarded with beautiful vistas, and a nice beach where you can spend the day. There are a few taverns and snack bars right before you climb down the 101 steps to the beach. There are umbrellas and lounge chairs for rent at the beach.

Exactly...Rare place and exotic beauty for Mediterranean Sea, I think. I was there two years ago (in September too) and must again (and then again :)). I prefer Egremni but this is really magnificent shot.

Beautiful shot! I've been to Porto Katsiki years ago and your photo makes me want to visit again. I will be in Greece in late September so maybe then. Keep posting your excellent 360% pics.
